At first it was in Michigan and now I’m hearing people in Texas and Ohio are getting fired up.

isn't it supposed to be lifted may 1?

many people aren't able to pay their bills right now, the $1,200 can only go so far when the majority of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck

Just fucking lol, these retards cant even go a month of living our life..

they are refusing to lower the tuition for online college courses

fucking bullshit

For some states, not all. And I personally don’t think it’s been enough time to lift it. But I think the government is worried about another economic depression over the quarantine since many Americans live paycheck to paycheck.
Just fucking lol, these retards cant even go a month without living our life..
It’s not that. Most Americans live right on the edge of homelessness and over 22 million are jobless right now.

They desperately want to resume their wageslave-consumer lifestyles :feelskek: :feelskek: :feelskek:

Hopefully they are obliged, the corona virus goes through a second wave, and millions of people die.

That's the new date that is being bandied about, whereas it was previously Easter.

It's funny because May 1st is International Workers' Day, and reopening an economy that only serves to benefit Jewish plutocrats on a socialist holiday is scarcely more fitting than likening the event to the rebirth of Jesus Christ.

Lift the quarantine, I don't care if boomers die. I need the economy to be good or I won't be able to surgerymaxx and I'll have to find anothER cope to hope for. The quarantine doesn't mean anything to me anyway, I'm too ugly to leave the house.

Gonna be interesting to see how all these millions of people that got laid off are going to re-enter the workforce.

Normies can't survive without wageslaving 8 hours a day, since they cant be alone with their own thoughts for very long.

A lot are protesting because their businesses are going under and they’re going to be permanently unemployed
they are refusing to lower the tuition for online college courses

It’s not that they want to be wagelsaves it’s that they will literally be homeless if they don’t get back to work. 22 million are jobless right now.

It’s not that. See above.

There is no risk of becoming homeless, as evictions have been deferred, and the government is literally giving out free money to people.

What there is a risk for is the rise of radical politics, which (((those in power))) and the social conformists who enable them don't want.

For instance, people learning never to pay their rents again, and seeing money as the valueless paper that it is.

Yeah there is a risk. That money won't last that long and they'll eventually cancel the deferrals since they won't have anyone paying money.

Then this will be conducive to the aforementioned development of radical politics.

Do not pretend as though those who oppose the quarantine and want it to end as quickly as possible care whatsoever about the common people, and not just promoting social stability for the purposes of maintaining their own power.

Some even go as far as killing themselves, if this doesn't give them at least a bit of empathy towards loners idk what will

Yeah assuming shit doesn't hit the fan, eventually evictions will go in place and good luck renting with that on your record.

Unless you're a foid single mother, business as usual. :feelstastyman:

Probably another Waco brewing in Texas.

I'm not and I agree.
Probably another Waco brewing in Texas.
Why's that?

There is something to be praised in the disinclination to believe authority that characterizes many of the grassroots protesters, but they are failing to appreciate the nuances of the situation, and see how it is not as simple as "the evil people in power want a shutdown to restrict freedom" narrative that seems to be so archetypal to their thinking.

At a certain point, not listening to those in authority is actually reflective of immorality on your part, about how you only care for yourself, and not your elders or your fellow man in general (common interests which are united under the umbrella of government).

And it is an extreme perversion and oversimplification of the "fake news" meme -- even reality has become "fake" to many Trump supporters, so entrenched have they become in defending the power structure now that their president is a part of it!

I've heard right wing types for the last few weeks bantering about how the virus is 'fake' simply because tens of millions haven't died in the US. It's as if there's a certain death quota that must be hit for it to become 'real' in their minds. All the while, they completely miss the irony that among the foremost reasons people aren't getting sick en masse in most areas is because they're sitting at home idling, which is exactly what they're protesting. And of course, as idiots, they aren't nuanced enough to protest a specific aspect of the quarantine and rather just want things to go back to normal starting Monday as if nothing happened, so they can resume their life cycle, dollar worship, and buying patterns.

JFL, they may get their wish if they have their way. It's never about 'muh rights' as you stated.

The one thing this could bring regardless of the quarantine restrictions changing or not, is a hastening of unrest if this continues to gain strength in the next few months. Especially in an election year. With warmer weather coming, we're entering prime season for riots and protests. Could get interesting.

It is the exact same tendency that is observed among schizophrenics who deny that school shootings are real, because they see everything around them as some dramatized display, like a movie, and make novel connections where there aren't anything but banalities.

Or, conversely, they think that "none of this can be real, because it isn't playing out like the movie I imagine it would be."
