Also, games are typically very profitable because of comparatively low overhead and high prices. When you compare it to, say, a movie. Even a free game like Fortnite has enough microtransactions to make a lot of money. Whereas with a movie, maybe I see it once or twice. I put $20 into that movie. That cost hundreds of millions of dollars to make. Whereas a game is maybe a couple million and makes thrice that much per person in microtransactions and V-Bucks.
