Your in high school, you have belief and hope in God and your country. You meet a cute girl in class and start talking to her. She's sweet and returns your affection and you start dating. You go to diners, to movies or just walk around enjoying each other's company. You can just feel this is the one you'll be with for the rest of your life. Flash forward to college, your still with your girlfriend and working hard to contribute to a society you believe in. You finally get your degree and get a good paying job that pays for a good house and car. On the steps of your house your house you propose to your girlfriend and she joyously accepts. The wedding day comes, all your friends and family have shown up to celebrate. And then she walks down the aisle, she's beautiful. You exchange vows and kiss. Later at your house, years of mutual want explode as you make passionate love through the night, you and her both happy for waiting and sharing each other's first. Life is great for the next year, you work your job providing for your house and wife, coming home to home cooked meals and regular loving sex. One day your wife mentions she hasn't had her period in a few weeks and your both overjoyed at the prospect of a child. Months later your son is born, and your life is complete. Sure, sometimes work and life in general can be rough, but when you walk through your front door to the smiling face of your son running up to hug you and the loving look your wife gives you while making a delicious dinner, you know it's worth it.
Obviously this is a very idealized version of the era and the culture would slowly rot but I just wanted to try writing, like with those waifubot stories awhile back. And I say white guy because I know someone is going to say "I'm random non white ethnicity so this wouldn't happen for me since I'm not white".
