It's good to have some sort of a scholarly pursuit, dedicating your lifetime to it can serve as a good coping strategy/a form of escapism. That's what I do, essentially. And since I'm quite socially inept and introverted I'm relatively fine the way I am. I don't think I'd be able to enter a romantic relationship with a woman even if I was seeking it more actively (whenever I try they just tend to totally ignore me/ cringe at me).
I'd be fine with paying for escorts (planning to do so in a couple of months if I start making more money) and spending the rest of my time with the books and other copes I enjoy
That being said, there's a greater risk of STD's which is a concern for me. So perphaps it would be a good idea to go for the erotic massage or some other stuff that would give you some sort of physical intimacy with a woman.
