Snapchat is today what facebook was back in the 2000s, if you dont have it its a sign that your social life is non existent and that youre an insufferable loser.

I overhear people talking about "snapstories" and whatnot and I just lol becuase I dont even know what the fuck that is. Afaik snapchat used to be for sending pictures that would get automatically deleted after being viewed but more recently it seems like its morphed into Facebook 2.0 with people apparently having their own walls and profiles that they can post on and that you can follow.

Last semester I had a group project and one of the people in my group asked me what my snapchat is and I just laughed it off and said that I currently dont have one and that they can text me if they need me. What would I even use snapchat for? Sharing pics of me doing .. exactly what? Playing video games? Sleeping? Just lol.

you are able to add people who have snapchats directly from your contacts, otherwise you have to get their username and add it.  And yes, snapchat is specifically designed to view who views your snaps.  It also tells you when people replay your snaps or take a screenshot.  you can also text and group text, good for fast communication between android and iphone users

they do see that, but there is a thing called snapscore, which is like a view counter.  Girls compete to have higher snapscores so they probably won't delete you.  Your average roastie has a 10,000+ snapscore. 

Mine just past 1000 last month, and I've had snapchat since early 2014, and its only that high because it increases with your group chat texts, not from snaps that I post.
