I have no choice at this point. Life looks meaningless. We just eat, drink, take a dump and then one day we die and are forgotten forever. I need to feel special and loved.

Thats why the Jews live and make babies and grow in number. They have a purpose. They can extract meaning from their suffering. They have a goal to get back to Israel etc. They have something to live for and to look forward to. They have a strong identity and values.

Same with Muslims. Muslims can be happy even when they are getting wrecked in places like Gaza. Many don't even fear death. They even make many babies and have a high fertility rate.

Many of us here are unbelievers. Our lives are no deeper than physical desires/pleasures.

Elliot Rodger only lived to get a girlfriend , to become rich, to become superior to everyone and to become a dictator. It was no deeper than that.

So here I am. Looking at religion.
I'm probably going to experience guilt from cooming but I will assume that God will give me a pass.
