I know how you feel. My Grandfather on my Dad's side was a literal genius. My Grandmother was super intelligent as well. Both were such awesome, moral people who cared for others, and contributed to America, when it was America. They had three sons. One of my Uncles lost his only son, and his daughters reproduced. My other Uncle had a daughter, and a son. She reproduced, and my other cousin is a manlet who has 5 girls, and got a vasectomy. That leaves me the early forties Hapa incel, and my brother in his fifties, who is currently in prison to carry our name forward from our Grandfather's line. On my mother's side, there is great heritage as well, but my Grandfather also had 4 daughters. It sucks being a genetic fail, and it sucks that my Paternal Grandfather's name basically terminates with me. I feel my ancestors deserved better.

Next thing you know, husbands will be taking the surnames of their wives and then male children will have no more value. As for me, I have half brothers from different fathers, so they can carry their legacy, me not so much. My father's lineage ends with me sadly.
