Now, yesterday I was having dinner with my parents and my wife. And we started talking about height randomly. For reference dad and I are both about 5’8, wife and mom are both 5’3.5. In the conversation, I said height really shouldn’t matter to women, and that one of my friends who has a really nice face and body but is maybe 5’3 or 5’4 has no trouble attracting women either. And my wife agreed that he’s good looking. I then asked her that if he’d asked her out would she say yes. And I was shocked at her answer, she said she’d turn him down for height! I was floored, because this guy is also pretty successful financially and well-educated. He also already has a wife, so we were discussing hypotheticals.

I then asked her if she’d turn me down if I was shorter than her, she said she would! What’s more, my parents agreed! They said the man should always be taller! My wife even added that she’d want the man to be at minimum 2 inches taller than her. She said it also doesn’t look as good in pictures if the girl is taller, and my dad agreed!
