The reason why is that I am an atheist and I’m secular, but I’m also a nationalist. I oppose immigration, I’m deeply concerned with the demographic changes that are happening in the united states and other western countries, and I’m largely drawn to the messages of people like Nick Fuentes, Andrew Tate, and other right wingers. But I can’t get past the demand for a theocracy. I believe all religions are utter bullshit and I don’t want it having influence in the government and laws. The left wing will reject me for being a nationalist (I don’t want to align with them anyway), but a lot of the Christian right will reject me for being an atheist. Nick Fuentes has outright stated his movement if for catholics only, which is really stupid in my opinion since America is mostly Protestant. Obviously not all alt righters/ nationalists are religious, but enough of them are where I could be outcasted just for being an atheist, even if I agree with them on everything else. It really is a tough position.
