The only downside of a business is the initial startup which is the most risky part and it can lead to a lifelong debt if you fail. When your father already took that risk and overcome it, you basically get a money printing machine for free as a son. You just have to be smart and learn how to run the business, which usually is easy. Running a business is easy, starting it is the difficult part.
