Gen 2 is the best, gen 5 is ok. But the new soykemon games suck.

I played SWSH and it was absolute dogshite, and now I'm worried that they will butcher the gen 4 remakes.

I loved that game.
I played all of the games in the series, sword and shield are rubbish, heartgold was good black and white 1/2 were good diamond,pearl/platinum not my idea of a Pokemon game, sun/moon had some good ideas but mostly shit,ruby/sap, we're OK omega Ruby was OK would have been better if more effort was put into it, X/Y were OK gold and silver were good as well as crystal, blue,red,yellow were good but shit graphics and character design, stopped playing the games as story is crap and basically repeats itself and the team rocket / nonsense just gets on my nerves you would think that these team whatever would actually be bad I could think of a number of ways these teams could make the game interesting but gamefreak just turn them into weak characters and plots and as the games have come out one after another the monster designs have become silly and lack effort on the designers part is pathetic a 5 year old could come up with better monsters , I think gamefreak are weak game designers as they just repeat a recipe knowing people will buy the games In 'hope of one being the one they want to play .
Gen 5 was the peak of pokemon, BW2 was the last real pokemon game.
