Just as the title says, I'm so autistic that I make even the forum's most famous aspies (like @NIGGER BOJANGLES) seem normal in comparison. I literally cannot look at people in the eyes, that is how bad it is. Seriously, am I the only one who experiences this? My eyes start watering when I have to look at someone in the eyes, especially females

nah that's me

Nobody has an IQ as low as me. I'm a legit 40 IQ retard

Yeah you might be nigga

Yeah you might be nigga
OF COURSE I AM. IM A LITERAL RETARD WITH A 40 IQ. I CAN'T EVEN LOOK AT PEOPLE IN THE EYES. INSTEAD I STARE AT THE FLOOR

I got diagnosed as an aspie as a kid but sometimes I think I'm basically NT. A lot of the symptoms of it that I had as a kid faded with time like I think I can understand when someone is joking decently well for example but I had some turbo autist traits as a kid. I remember when I was a really young kid during lunch time at school I would literally walk around in circles covering my ears and repeatedly say "it's too noisy" over and over. I used to have complete meltdowns over certain sensations and it was teachers that went to my parents to tell them to get me tested for it because I would never make eye contact and I would ignore them when my name was called.

Did your eyes start watering uncontrollably when you had to look at someone in the eyes?

What about me

Don't remember tbh but it was clearly enough of an issue to have to be pointed out by my teachers. Even now I tend to stare at the floor a lot instead of looking people in the eyes but I've became a bit more self aware over time I think

I'm definitely neurodivergent based on the things people said to me about the way I act all throughout my life. Especially by teachers. I used to be called "shy" all the time as a kid, and even antisocial sometimes. Not sure about autism tho, do you think I seem autistic?

do you get that shit where peoples eyes like wipe your mental RAM and you cant listen to what they say? Eyes are way too much info, too intense, gotta look away to process info.

That's exactly what happens to me. I can never concentrate and I automatically start watering from my eyes as if I was crying. Also when many people are talking around me at once I start feeling overwhelmed to the point of dizziness

It's hard to tell if your antisocialness/shyness came purely from your environment, your genetics or a mix of both. I wouldn't be surprised if you are ND though, a large chunk of the userbase here is.

I can think of many more autistic seeming users than you. You might have it worse than me with autism but you still reply to people and have enough sense of reciprocity in interactions.

The more non NT ones can’t hold a conversation at all and usually won’t reply unless directly asked a question. Sometimes even replies that aren’t direct questions warrant replies but these types don’t get it.

Ever see the type of users that start threads and then don’t make a single reply to anyone in their thread? Or very few replies? Those are the most autistic seeming ones to me because they don’t even try to stir conversation in their own threads.

Yeah, I get what you mean. And that makes sense of course

I usually reply to users when I feel like it and I enjoy striking converstations with people online but prefer to keep it very quick and short. Irl I always expect people to act according to my vision and reply the way I want them to reply which can obviously cause issues and disappointment on my side

Yeah I think you might have too much pickiness for things going your way sometimes. But I’ve seen users far far worse in this regard

I’m pretty autistic too. I can’t have normal conversations with people and I chimp out all the time. Going grocery shopping or having to deal with a gas station clerk is a major ordeal for me. Buying clothes is basically impossible. It’s fucking over for me :kys: :feelsrope:

It causes me severe discomfort to not have everything around me under control/predictable which might have to do more with ocd than anything tbh

Yeah. Also, what’s your discord again? I know I’ve got you added there but I forget which one is yours

Basically, you've just learned to mask your symptoms well. I’m the same, I've taught myself to recognize if people are being genuine or not and to always think carefully about what I say so as not to make a fool of myself. Some symptoms however I've never really been able to suppress, especially with sensory overload, such as loud noises and certain sensations on my skin like clothing tags and hair, that really irritate me and make me prone to outbursts.
