Idk, I’m 28 and never even been on a date.
It’s shameful to me even if it surprises no one and there were absolutely zero expectations.
My mum said the job interview I’ll have in a few weeks is “like a date”… but she knows that I’ve never been on a date, never expected me to either, due to my looks and autism (it’s very clear she’s realistic). She didn't intend it in a mean way but it was an awkward moment. At least we were in the car.
I always lived at home. Never went out. Etc etc.
Still, I feel a weird sense of shame.
