Still on deployment. I stared at the vast openness of the environment I find myself in. Rifle in hand. Staring at fucking nothing. I realized something.

I’m fucking done!

I am fucking tired of saluting pieces of shit who don’t deserve it. And serving alongside those who fucking loathe me!

No one fucking likes me. And those who even bother talking to me just fucking mock me. I’m just a fucking joke.

I have made a massive mistake. Massive I never should have joined. And I’m finding myself barely able to keep it together before my end of active service date.

I’m just angry, that nothing changed. I really tried. I didn’t fucking want this! I wanted to be someone that wasn’t a fucking forum dweller hating on the world! I TRIED TO CHANGE! AND I’m the same fucking person!

I CANT SOCALIZE! I CANT CONNECT WITH PEOPLE! I’M TIRED! I’m just tired. I can’t even put it into words anymore. I already tried. But why even bother?

I don’t really know. I don’t really want to work anymore. I’m gonna try and apply for VA disability after I’m done. Return to my NEET ways.

Yeah, I would do that too, my brothers girlfriends step brother got some disability while in the army, and he gets I think around 4k dollars per month from the government, but he has 2 children and a wife, so you might get less

Hm. I guess just try to hang on in there and make the best of it until it's over.

And then when it is you can plan your next move.

I've had experiences a bit like that recently. A step backwards. But I focused on recovering, learned my lesson, and then started to build again going forwards.

That's the best advice I can give I guess.
