I get that this is a "safe" forum for incels to vent (and I'm very grateful for this), but I read a TON of threads about media other incels consume that drives them crazy. Or I read incels on the one hand acknowledge their social caste (appreciating blackpills) while on the other hand STILL GIVING MORE AND MORE AND MORE POWER to the very people who either despise them or never even see them. Why isn't MGTOW a more constructive response to what we're experiencing?

@chadalwayswins From my reading of MGTOW, they acknowledge misandry and hypocrisy as catalysts for giving up on trying (and failing) to win the attention of women. What I read in a lot of incel comments (not tryng at all to be cruel) is a contradictory disdain for many women's dismissive attitudes towards men and many incels' self-abasement through the constant hunt for these same women's physical succor. I mean, come on. How is it not more psychologically harmful to keep playing a game that rewards your efforts with thousands of punitive lashes over and over and over again? I'm not trying to convert or shame anyone--but I agree with @FrothySolutions "At least have some pride in yourself while doing it." So both our communities know what the game is. Now what?

I think you're referring to some members of the MGTOW community. They don't appear to me any more delusional as a whole than we are with some of our in-group divisiveness. The fundamental MGTOW ideology is leave people who don't want to have anything to do with you alone. I think that's a healthier approach than following around the in-crowd, listening to what they're saying, watching their exploits with envy and coping by denigrating them in a community they don't care about other than to eradicate.

I think @Emergency Manual comes closest to the truth for many of us. Despite our (understandably) loathing how we're treated, many of us still hope to win a girlfriend. I'm sure many mainstream psychologists would judge that the healthier behavior--never giving up hope. I think there's a good reason the Ancient Greeks counted hope among the cosmos' great curses. Anyway, I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. Carry on, all.

Personally, I don't see why there should be any beef between MGTOWs and us. We both want the same things in a broad sense and we both agree women are garbage.
