I know your pain OP. I got called "horse face" so many times, especially back in high school. All the guys I've personally known with midfaces as long as mine were also truecel. It's easily the worst facial flaw not just because of how much it fucks up your looks, but because there's no surgery for it. Contrary to what armchair experts from looksmax claim, none of the lefort surgeries shorten the top part of the maxilla. If you have a gummy smile that's a different story, but my length is mostly in the top portion, where the nose is. There's no surgery to shorten that.
If I had a compact midface I probably would have gotten a gf after I got some of the surgeries I did.
Another thing is you always have to keep in mind that you have a long midface. Some hair styles will make it look worse. If you get too lean facially, it will actually makes your face look gaunt and even longer. Some surgeries need to be done differently if you have a long midface, especially rhinoplasty because if you make your nose too thin, it will makes your midface look longer. Also it's better to have a low radix if you have a long midface. Another mistake i've seen long midfacers make is they'll get large jaw and chin implants thinking it will balance everything out when their chin and jaw aren't even the problem. So them they end up having a face that looks like a brick standing vertically.
Even most people who know a lot about cosmetic surgery don't know this stuff. I've seen long midfaced guys in cosmetic surgery communities online who got a lot of surgery and didn't seem to understand why they still looked bad and in some cases looked worse.
