It depends; most long term relationships are actually a form of "betabuxxing" i.e. providing resources for a foid in order for her to stay, so it lies on the actual severity of attraction and if the male is being cucked in other ways...

then, if i use that money to get the best facial plastic surgery, it might be a life changer, of course nothing can fix height (leg lengthening only adds few inches for way too much risk, pain, & time), but i imagine life would be comparatively better if you’re eligible to leverage surgery to go above the looks threshold needed to start experiencing the halo effect.
