Derma needling and home chemical peels can really improve acne scarring. I had, and still have, widened pores due to having severe acne all throughout puberty. They're red and hard to the touch. I did a home chemical peel when I was younger for a few months and it really improved them.

I also bought some needling gear but never did it because I'm lazy and gave up on life long ago, but this site has the best info and before/after pictures: https://owndoc.com/

Sun/whole food diet and exercise also help.
