You may have read this before. But the word "tall" was essentially a word that compassed all male values between the 10th and 15th century. Yes it meant big, impressive. But it also meant valiant, bold, moral astuteness, humbleness, properness, decentness, handsomeness, attractiveness, righteousness, being well intentioned, swiftness, promptness, decisiveness, bravery etcetera. All these words encapsulated in one word of admiration: tall.

And lastly, reclaim the original word tall. When people give you shit, remind them that tallness is about way more than height. According to its original meanings, even a 5'0 dude can be tall. Likewise, even a 6'6 guy can still be short.
