Wait and see. That's how they will "cure inceldom."

Well that's what I think the future will be like yeah.

But no one's making me do anything. This is voluntary. I feel so calm right now. I won't ever go ER on anybody. But I absolutely will kill myself if I lose hair. So for me this is the logical choice.

I mean basically inceldom creates two problems:

1) Sexual frustration
2) Loneliness

Hair loss meds kill #1 easily enough with the added benefit that you don't have to go bald and look uglier. If you're actually ugly you'll understand how important that is. If you're actually ugly and understand how much it limits your life you will do almost anything to stop yourself from getting uglier. At least that's the case for me. I check my hairline at least 5-10 times a day and watching it go back to 100% over time is so soothing and calming. I would take hair over sex or over anything. I simply can't get uglier.

#2 is a separate problem. I wonder if taking #1 out of the equation though can let you get #2 in different ways. Ie. If you're not sexually motivated can you find meaningful company just from hanging out with people you like?

I don't know. The whole subject is admittedly pretty fucked up. But as I'm sitting here now relatively free from my sexual frustration, even if you gave me a magic hairloss cure that wouldn't require this tradeoff, I don't know that I'd want to go back. It was very stressful being sexually frustrated 24/7 at that level. I'm down to 30-50% of my normal sexual level and this is much easier to tolerate.
