Of course. The only thing that's stopping me from suicide is the fact that the method I'd like to use is quite complicated to assemble. I plan to off myself by the end of this year anyway, so it would just speed things up.

I would. There are a few things that prevent me from killing myself immediately, but the main two are these: (1)I don't have access to a method that is suitably effective and painless, and (2)my killing myself would cause my family to suffer. A button which would immediately and painlessly result in my no longer existing would eliminate the first problem, and it would also reduce the second problem. If I could vanish without a trace, as the button would allow me to do, this would make the proceedings of my death easier for my family to bear. They wouldn't have to be made aware, after they (btw, thinking of how a family member would react to seeing my post-suicide body isn't pleasant) or someone else had discovered my dead body, of the fact that I killed myself; instead, I'd merely be "missing". They also wouldn't have to pay for a burial or cremation. The "suicide button" seems like an ideal way of suicide. One thing that would almost certainly be better, though, is a button not that would cause me to cease to exist, but one that would prevent my coming into existence.

Missing means there is a hope you are still alive.. you care a lot about your family. I could never care for my family in such a way. The amount of mental stress and psychological strain brought about by their behaviour is enough to make me care about nothing at all.
