I understand that having a tax on property you own is stupid BUT if these taxes would be lifted NO PERSON should own more then 2 homes at a time!
Its frustrating and mad that a single individual 'landlord' can own multiple homes!
Having a home is a NEED. Its a human need. I hear about more and more people not just in America but all around the first World living at their car or homeless or Gen Z especially men living with their parents even to their 30s.
The rich only get richer and there NEEDS to be a cap on how much someone can own.
And no person should be allowed to own dozens of houses and hundreds of Apartments. This is not okay and ultimately it let to this global housing crisis and it will only get worse.
The rich will own all the land, all the houses, all the Apartment buildings everything will be for rent only and the rent will always increase above the SPY and thus people will be getting poorer and poorer.
They are already sleeping in tents in front of good suitable houses. Houses that just stand around with NOBODY living in them because the cost hundreds of thousands if not even millions of dollars (Same here in Germany all modern homes are 500k+).
Its only getting worse. This needs to happen all over the western world. Laws that prohibit people to own more land, more homes that they do not need FOR THEMSELVES.
