The current social paradigm in the West is based on a very strong State with such features as: wealth redistribution, public healthcare, equality before the law. Which is relatively new. This State usually pretends to ensure greater "social justice" and greater happiness for its people... Yet a cursory examination of human life reveals that natural inequalities such as beauty, intelligence and height have far greater impact on happiness and success than economics. If anything, the only inequalities that really matter, that can really inflict lifelong pain and limitation, are natural and not economical.
If this truth were to become widely accepted, the moral and logical self-justification of modern Western States would completely collapse, leaving the gates open for wide disrespect of the law, tax resistance, and more importantly, a loss of natural authority comparable to the loss of authority suffered by monarchs in the XVIIIth and XIXth centuries.
