If your family owns a plot of land in a tropical region of the world then never ever sell it just to to use the money to travel to America to end up eating fried fast food everyday. Yet the land back home grows avocados, papaya, guava, berries, oranges. It can sustain rabbits, chickens, geese, turkey,pigeons. All that delicious good food.
I guess that’s where I disagree, I don’t really think there is a significant portion of the population that live worse than third worlders. Income inequality is bad tho and getting worse so that I agree with. It’s the reason why so many people eat fast food here.
