Someone who is completely deaf and without any hearing would need sign language from an interpreter, or the ability to read lips to understand what another person is saying. This is literally the reason that sign language exists.

That is what I am saying. I literally had a deaf coworker that relied on a miniature white board to communicate with others because he didn’t have any hearing aides. But just because someone is deaf doesn’t exactly mean they need sign language. Only if they don’t have access to things that artificially boost their hearing.
