it was still pretty good when I started watching it in late 2005 but by 2008 it was getting boring.
On youtube I've watched segements/promos/ matches from 2000 to 2005 like the triple h/stone cold rivalry, the 6 man hell in a cell,
the big show/brock lesanr rivalry, JBL being racist to Eddie Guerrero etc.. would have been exciting watching it at the time

It’s a shame too as even though like everyone else from our Gen X era that absolutely fucking HATED the gay ass, faggotty and boring as fuck and kiddie as hell C-nation with its fruity Pebbles and faggot little kids that didn’t know any better mindlessly cheering the John Cena babyface character he would have made an AWESOME heel in the Attitude era had he only been around back then and been very good fodder for Rock and Stone Cold to beat the crap out of satisfyingly instead of just Triple H and Kurt Angle all the time.

Actually had WCW not died or WWE ended up with some other viable competition somehow and Bret not been kicked in the head by Goldberg the Attitude era probably could and would have continued indefinitely and the John Cena babyface character actually would’ve worked in a full sense since they could just have had Bret go back to the anti American pro Canada gimmick and rebuild the Hart Foundation so as to become fodder for John and properly get him over as well draw big money for the company.

Oh well.

when was it good, i only watched it a fair amount during 2013-2015 and it was barely watchable. All they do basically is edging over the next big event, hype it up, then during the event an UNEXPECTED betrayal happens, the main characters get shit around a bit, rince and repeat. From 1997 until 2003 and or some of 2005 it was as good as pro wrestling has ever been or perhaps will ever be.
