Despite how irrational and misguiding, deep down, in the very center of my being is a little kernel of hope that keeps me going, thinking things might improve. I imagine most incels have some hope they can turn their lives around and find someone. I suspect most won't admit that underneath all the layers of hate, cynicism, and pessimism there is some bit of humanity left. 

Its an absolute cope, with no basis in reality. But it will probably always be with me.
