So I watched Squid Game Season 3 on Saturday. I really don't know if I should say I'm disappointed with the ending, but I predicted what was gonna happen to Gi-Hun. I just didn't expect the baby would carry the entire plot. Fun spoiler: The troon got killed in the second episode

So after Gi-Hun was defeated on his revolution against the guards, he had to be handcuffed in the main room. Meanwhile player 246 was gonna be harvested for his organs after being shot, but the North Korean foid who was guard 016 saved him and helped him to get out. And Hwang was still looking for the island with captain Park who was revealed to work with the host of Squid Games, but Hwang hadn't realized it yet.
Meanwhile, in the games, the guards made players pick up red and blue balls randomly from a jar in order to make up their teams for Hide & Seek. The one who got red balls were gonna be the seekers who'd have to kill at least one person in order to continue playing the games, meanwhile the ones who got the blue balls would have to hide and avoid getting found by the seekers in order to survive. Gi-Hun was a seeker and he was looking to kill the guy who chickened out in the last episode of Season 2. The troon helped the old foid and the pregnant foid to hide, and during this game the pregnant foid fell off the stairs and broke her ankle and later up ended up giving birth to a baby girl during the Hide & Seek game. The troon was caught and killed by the pregnant foid's partner who was a seeker during this game. The old foid's son was a seeker who didn't manage to kill anyone, so he attempted to kill the foid who had just given birth, but his mom stopped him and he ended up getting killed by the guards. Meanwhile Gi-HUn killed the guy who betrayed him in the confrotation against the guards.
Gi-Hun was sad during the first 2 episodes because he didn't manage to destroy the guards, and he was blaming himself of not being able to escape. The old foid talked to him about some story she had with her loser son, and later that night the old foid ended up roping because she could no longer live without her son. Meanwhile the guards got the players ready for the next game which was jumping the rope around a bridge, and if they failed to jump they'd fall off the bridge. Player 222 who had just given birth brought her baby with her, and Gi-Hun offered himself to carry the baby during the game which he manahed to pass because he had plot armour. Then other players started crossing, and there was this abusive player who was pushing others off the bridge which ended up getting killed by Gi-Hun. Since play 222 had her ankle fractured, she didn't dare to cross the bridge, and ended up committing suicide before the game time endedafterasking Gi-Hun to take care of her baby.
After this game there were just 8 players left, and the baby was counted as a player by the host because the VIPs had asked him to count her as a player backing up her mother. Meanwhile, one of the guys helping Hwang to find the island went back to the city and he became suspicious of Captain Park. This guy ended up finding enough information about Captain Park's residence and trespassed his property killing the pitbull inside. There he found Captain Park's Squid Game uniform and a lot of money, but he got arrested by the police who didn't believe the accusations he made about Captain Park. But after requesting to talk on the phone, he talked in a hurry to Hwang to tell him about the dark evidence he had discovered about Captain Park and to avoid him. Meanwhile the cops called Captain Park to tell him someone had trespassed into his property and killed his dog, and that's when Captain Park started killing everyone on his boat, but Hwang managed to kill him and save only one guy Captain Park was attempting to kill.
Meanwhile the player 246 was on his way escaping from the island on a boat during a fog with that North Korean foid who was the pink guard 016. But the co-host threatened to go after player 246's destination if he didn't return the boat, so he he returned the North Korean foid to confront the co-host and delete information from the players, so they couldn't be found. She got inside a computer of the games and deleted information about player 246, and then of other players, and started burning libraries about the games. There was a fight between the co-host and the North Korean foid which the North Korean foid was losing because foids are weak obviously, but she ended up killing him with a gun when the co-host got distracted.
During this time, the 8 players remaining and the baby were offered a dinner before they started the last game. The 8 players had steak, rice, wine, and sodas, and the baby had hot powder milk that was fed to her by a pink guard. The host of the games asked Gi-Hun to kill the other players who wanted to kill the baby, and that's when he found out the host was player 001 who had betrayed Gi-Hun in the last episode of Season 1. Gi-Hun refused to kill anyone while they were asleep, and the next day the last game started. The players were lifted on the platforms of 3 tall platforms of a square, triangle, and circle respectively. In this game they had to push off at least one player from the platform in order to win the game. In the square platform, 6 of the players were planning to push off Gi-Hun who was carrying the baby, but they ended up pushing a junky friend of Thanos who was high. Then, they crossed to the triangle platform, and there the other players were making their plan to separate Gi-Hun from the baby, so they could push off one of them from the platform, but the baby's dad who was one of the players pushed off one of the other players from the platform, and they had a fight in which 4 other players were pushed off, and another player who was stabbed during the fight decided to commit suicide to not be used as a sacrifice in the next game. For the next round, the only players left were Gi-Hun, the baby, and the baby's dad. The baby's dad started getting angry and was willing to sacrifice his baby and throw off Gi-Hun to survive. Gi-Hun was trying to calm down the baby's father, but they ended up fighting because he was using his baby as a hostage. During the fight, the baby's father accidentally fell off to his death, and they hadn't even started the game. Gi-Hun pressed the button to start the game, and he said his last words to the people watching, and ended up killing himself to save the baby.
The baby ended up becoming the winner, and the host went right away to pick her up. But at the same time, Hwang had already managed to find the island and bring a team to blow it up which made the guards evacuate and leave. While the island exploded Gi-Hun was there dying on the floor.
Then a scene comes of player 246 coming back to his normal life with his daughter recovering from cancer, and then meeting up with that North Korean foid at the park. Hwang picked up the guy on his team who had been arrested for trespassing, and he was given the winner baby alongside a credit card which had 45.6 billion wons which was this baby's money.
After some time later, the host of the games went to Los Angeles to Gi-Hun's daughter house to tell her Gi-Hun had died and give her Gi-Hun's belongings which included the money he had won in Season 1 and his player 456 uniform. The host then left on his van, and there stuck in the traffic of Los Angeles, he saw a kike foid playing ddakji with a homeless man.
My review:
So I was already expecting Gi-Hun could die in this season because the creators said it was final season. It was predictable Gi-Hun was gonna die and I was prepared for him to die. I just didn't expect the baby would have an important role in the series, I don't know why they even considered the baby a player to substitute 222. But well, I'm not disappointed, but I was expecting a better ending. In the last game, Gi-Hun, the baby, and the baby's father could have been saved if they had saved the old man and the injured guy for the next game, but the father ended up wanting all money for himself. I also find it stupid that the baby's mom decided to carry the baby for a game, she could have just kept the baby in the room where all the beds are while she plays. There was bad writing there. And about the ending, I feel like watching Squid Game America would just be like watching a MrBeast series, but with the players dying if they lose. I rate Season 3 7/10 because of the writing plot and because of the ending. I did enjoy watching it.
