In my school there were some kids with down syndrome. And I was confused with one in different ocassions:

2 times I was confused by the same teacher (I think), she confused me with one of her down students and when she noticed I wasnt him she just left ashamed.
The other time I was playing football with my friend and some guys from a younger grade and I dont remember why there was a foid and she asked my friend if I was a downie and he said no. I was like 12 back then.
Its really weird to ask if someone is a downie in front of his face so imagine how many times my classmates got asked if I was a downie when I wasnt around.

Just lol tbh, I do look a lot like a downie.

Say something faggots this is an interesting story

I was picked last, the extremely autistic and mentally handicapped kid and the half deaf smelly kid got picked before me, I got so angry I refused to participate and they called me a spoilsport, it's OVER

Teacher leaving ashamed for falsely identifying you as a downie. That goes to show how bad being a downy really is. Brutal

The answer to the problem you presented is somewhat complex and varied. Many individuals utilize this website as a medium for conveying their issues simply because they lack supportive attention from relatives/acquaintances. Yet other users have to deal with consistent negativity and thus using the website enables them to 'manipulate' a virtual social-cycle as a means of cognitively escaping their problems. I'm certain that the majority of the excessive 'attention-seekers' on the website have some degree of self-perceived inferiority that contributes to their perception of the situation. Altogether, though, it's likely going to be much more beneficial to communicate with someone offline rather than becoming upset when random users over the internet show a lack of significant sympathy towards the various problems you may have, though I could understand the difficulty.

My bus driver in middle school thought I was a 'tard because I didn't talk back to her when she was yelling at me to sit in a different seat. Think I was waiting for her to point out where it was lol.

Are you rice?
Mongoloid became a slur for a reason
