I re-watched a childhood favourite film of mine today. It's Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

I remember watching this film when I was around the age of ten. Ferris is an attractive guy who has the mindset that nothing in the world can stop him. Everything he does works.

His best friend Cameron even says that everything Ferris does works. Cameron is a depressed person who has given up.

When I was younger, I though Cameron was a kill joy. Someone who needed to liven up. Now I realise that I'm Cameron. I want to be Ferris Bueller so badly.

Meanwhile Cameron was fucked beyond repair.

Cameron has never been in love - at least, nobody's ever been in love with him. If things don't change for him, he's gonna marry the first girl he lays, and she's gonna treat him like shit, because she will have given him what he has built up in his mind as the end-all, be-all of human existence.
