I watched the movie finally because of lockdown, and I really relate to the MC.

I know he's total satire but I'm such a joke I seriously relate to him, except I'm not overweight or alt right. The exact way he relates to his mom and the exact way he carries out his sperg rages (I get angry with the exact same noises and punch and break random shit in the same way when I'm angry and ashamed at myself). I even have the same delusions of him where I get obsessed over certain fantasies and create fake realities in my head to cope. My failed dates happen exactly like his without the sperging out and edginess, where I just get used for a free meal and they walk out mid way through with no interest in me whatsoever.

God I'm such a joke I relate to a literal comic relief character
