You do have a point, the reason why games are better as opposed to simple porn is because you spend more time with the character and you do get somewhat invested, making the sexual part better. But I need a good amount of porn in the game for the relationship part to be satisfying for me. Like 40% porn 60% story is a good balance, 50/50 ideal.
