I think parents disowning their kids is okay

I was on Reddit the other day and saw a faggot complaining about he was disowned because his parents discovered he posts femboy pics on the internet and they stopped giving him money for rent.

In my opinion, I think once that kid turned 18 his parents aren’t obliged to even give him money anymore and were only doing that out of kindness. Children should automatically “be disowned” after 18 unless the parents really like them

Imagine how the parents feel, seeing their child posting pictures like that online. They probably feel shame and embarrassment and they don’t want to be associated with a lifestyle like this. Disowning is not an act of hatred, it’s just an act of separating yourself from your child because 1. They’re old and can survive on their own 2. You don’t agree with their way of living

If I said this on Reddit, they would ban me of course so what do you guys think?

In this day and age it's really hard for an 18 year old to support themselves. People these days generally live with their parents until their mid 20s or so.

Unfortunately I've seen parents talk about disowning their sons because they don't like his political views or something. I think it's ok to disown your kid only if they did some REALLY fucked up shit like molest a child or something. Wheat Waffles parents not only disowned him, but went to the media and doxxed him. Personally if I had a son and he did that, I'd have an intervention with him but I wouldn't resort to outright disowning him right away. Don't get me wrong, dressing up like a femboy and posting pics online certainly isn't good, but it's not on the same level as truly sicko shit that would warrant completely disowning right away (killing or seriously harming another family member, child molestation, harming children or animals for fun).

Also if your son does this, maybe you fucked up as a parent. I know if I were a parent, I would not allow my child to have unsupervised internet access until they were an adult. I honestly think it would solve a lot of problems if all parents did this, or if there were some legal enforcement of it. Tbh I don't think that was deserved, if he did something like that it was because he was either subhuman in looks (his parents fault for procreating despite having bad genetics), or he didn't have a good father figure growing up (also obviously his parents fault).
