Kind of an update on the crush post I made. Not gonna rehash but I think I fucked up because she realized I'm attracted and I think others noticed too. I haven't slept in 2 days so this is haphazard.

Don't get me wrong. People are already being ass hats and especially now that they're picking up on my avoidant behavior. Thankfully my boss recognizes I'm really good at work which usually save me from rumor mongering jack offs.

Still, I've been wanting to say something but I didn't have any time, was exhausted, and she was avoiding looking at me so I figured she didn't want to interact with me. Sadly, doesn't stop my interest in her though I try to hide it.

This morning however, I was so damn tired I didn't realize I was staring at her a lot today because I was wondering about her and I think it made her uncomfortable. Her reaction was seemingly shock and repugnance. I also think some guys saw it when I caught myself because they were snickering.

It's days like this I wish I could be normal, ya know. I really feel for you non NT guys. Anyways just needed to get it out

Keep in mind that foids really don't care about you that much and just aren't consciously thinking about you when you're outside of their peripheral vision. So I find that the best thing to do when I've accidentally offended some female is to just put a full stop on any interaction with her. That means no apologizing, no trying to be casual or nice with her as if it didn't happen, literally no interaction whatsoever + don't be in close physical proximity to her. All of those things show "intent" which just reaffirms what she already thinks of you

Once you do that there's no real issue anymore and they might even forgive you somewhat on their own initiative since you aren't bothering them and they have no longer have any reason to upset by you

This might be hard to do depending on the workplace though but it works consistently for me where it can be done

Yeah, probably not. I've done far more irresponsible things and this wasn't that bad. I bust my ass to make up for my bad social skills. Plus I have options so oh well.

Thanks. That's pretty solid advice and what I plan on. I tried but slipped up. It's probably going to bother me for awhile but I'll do it til I'm ready to leave.
