Like I'm socially aware enough to understand.

But my brain isn't fast, I can't know what to say straight away so I always say the wrong thing/something autistic

The foids at my kindergarten wanted to put me in special ed, that was their recommendation

That's exactly what happens to me when I'm nervous or with new people OP, I say dumb shit and sometimes I recognize it even before I say it, I know it's gonna be stupid but the awkwardness/high inhibition pushes me into saying something. I do fully realize in the moment that I'm fucking up badly.

Once I'm calmer I can control myself better and not say stupid shit though. Having prepared topics and dialogue scripts and overall more practice also helps
