I never understand isekai

Such a cucked theme, I would rather watch all women anime full ecchi other than a chad mogger who gets all the chicks you're literally a CUCK over that no joke. Also all of them are SSSOOO uninteresting, copy pasted, boring. "duuunghh b-bButsh W-Werld BildiNG AnD WaaayyyFushhhch heheheh Dungghh I have brain damageee btw pls be slowww hehehe dunnggh", I would rather simp on a waifu higher quality and charisma than a copy pasted elf without purpose and is just there. Also how in the hell would you get addicted to this shit. I escape the boring reality on quality and unique stuff in video games and other medium that just makes my life span length stretched instead of watching as boring as watching grass grow. There is not a single piece of isekai even interesting aside from Overlord, Nazi loli and Military x Fantasy world however their tropes are so repetitive, generic and painfully low effort. Man anime was so high up but then fell into their sin of greed and sloth.

isekai is just a generic wish-fulfillment fantasy for hikki nerds, where they get to be reborn and live a new life without their past issues

plus the usual dumb wish-fulfillment tropes like winning over foids through becoming a hero, etc.

it's just another genre of escapist slop, and like many similar genres of anime, webnovels, or fantasy novels, most of it is just going to be the same thing churned out over and over again. people watch it for the generic wish-fulfillment, feel-good shit, and don't care about the quality

Pretty much. Power fantasy "what ifs" I dont have a problem with the theme, but whenever something becomes popular it gets flooded with low effort trash.
