I miss the '90s!

I was just listening to some music from GoldenEye on the N64.

And I was wondering if the only reason I missed the '90s was my life at the time.

But I really don't think it's just that.

I don't even think that the game GoldenEye could be made these days.

- Protagonist is a competent straight white man
- Most/all of the women like him
- Most of the characters are white
- Nobody is trans

etc etc.

Not that the '90s was free from "political correctness", but my goodness it's gotten worse since then hasn't it, lol

I often avoid sequels to popular indie games even because many become suspiciously woke when they return.

I don't know if this ideology can actually create its own successful media or if it has no choice but to try to steal the popularity of others. Usually it kills those franchises dead in one fell swoop.
