this is something thats been on my mind lately, its been a topic of conversation at probation and my moveout day is fast approaching.

after i got released from hmp bristol on the 22/oct/2024, i stayed at a sharehouse until the 14th/jan/2025 and i moved into a temporary flat.
my probation officer and the manager here told me that once my stay here is up, i need to move out and sort out a new place to live.

good news is that my probation officer has been trying to sort out accommodations for me.
but the bad news is that he's not gotten a responce from the county council to sort out housing for me.
its been like this for over a month, he tries to reach out to the cunty cUcKcil, and he doesn't get a response.

if a new place isn't ready for me on the 8/apr/2025, i could go homeless.
i was meant to leave on the 4th of april, but my tenancy here has been extended to give my probation officer more time to sort something out.
the people i'm working with don't want me to go homeless.
the manager here is getting pretty frustrated with my probation officer and the council.

my probation officer also told me that the county are pretty nervous about housing me because of my risk assessment.
which is pretty fucking ironic because if i were to go homeless, i might pose a risk to the general public.

i kinda have a contingency plan for if/when i do go homeless.
i'll take a bus to this one town i used to live at, go to the soup kitchen i used to frequent and ask if they can sort me out with a tent and a sleeping bag.
i also know this one sweetspot to hitch my tent so its hidden and out the way.

if/when i go homeless, i can't bring most of my belongings with me, but the manager said she'll keep them in storage for me for 3 months.
the only things i can take with me are a backpack with clothes, socks and boxers, my library card, drivers licence, bank card, phone and charger.
my laptop is too big and heavy to bring with me so i'll have to leave it here for storage along with everything else.
I don't even have a whole lot of stuff for storage, just this hikers bag from millets that contains my jackets and other clothes.

i'll still be receiving my benefits if/when i go homeless and i know the soup kitchens in that town too.
i was a regular there before i got arrested towards the end of august last year and did 7 weeks at bristol.

but yeah, obviously if i go homeless, my activity here on IS would decrease because quite a few wifi hotspots in that town block IS.

and also, i can't find a room to rent either because i don't have the money and the monthly rent is too fucking expensive. (thanks jews!)

no way, i cut ties with them way back in 2015, and they still live all the way over in surrey, i'm in the south-west

of course not, I really hope you don't go homeless bro

How is it that people whose job it is to think about shit like this don't come up with something so basic?

being homeless wouldn't be so bad in that town.
its still majority white, so its pretty safe.

that and a lot of people who live they are posh, privileged twats who'll pose no threat whatsoever to me.
the area i plan to hitch my tent is by a footpath that leads out of town and is pretty grassy, green and full of trees and bushes.
not many people frequent that area.

i'm more qualified for their jobs than they are, they most likely only got their jobs via nepotism.

I'm glad you've got a contingency plan worked out that's not wholly horrible, but I still hope they find you housing. In the summer sleeping in a tent might be tolerable, but once winter comes...

I mean, to rent a room you mostly need cash and a reasonable credit report.

I know the former in particular can be tricky.

A guarantor can help though of course.

when i told my plan to this cop in one of my home visits, he told me about this one homelesscel he knew who seriously struggled with homelessness, he said it broke him.
before he got sent to prison, he hitched his tent in a public park near a chavvy neighbourhood.
the locals were harassing him and throw food at his tent.

i feel sorry for the guy, but it was pretty dumb of him to hitch his tent in a public park where it can easily be found and near a neighbourhood festering with low iq, retarded chavs

winters far off from now, i hope i won't be homeless for that long.

it would be pretty cool if i could save up enough money to buy a used car for like a thousand quid and live in it.
but i need money for driving lessons too, and saving up that amount of money with the UC i'm on could take a long while.

Yeah. Maybe he didn't know the neighborhood and was afraid of sleeping in the forest for some reason?
it would be pretty cool if i could save up enough money to buy a used car for like a thousand quid and live in it.
I don't think sleeping in a car is anywhere near comfortable. I wouldn't be surprised if it's illegal either.

ok then live in a tent its better
the weather is looking splendid lately, so living in a tent won't be too bad.

i just hope some jerkops don't tell me to move my tent somewhere else for some dumb reason

i won't be homeless for that long, and i prefer to be outside rather than be inside hmp bristol.

it was boring as fuck there, the guards were assholes and the food sucked.

Damn man that really sucks to hear, hope you're able to figure something out. If you were an immigrant they would have found you a place already. That's the fucked up part.

What were you arrested for?

What?? Is this for real? I knew being an incel in the UK is especially brutal but damn... Is it because of hate speech laws or something?

I can't serve with any advice, but I hope things get better for you and you don't go homeless.

all paid for by the bri'ish taxpayer too
The way our countries treat their own is the biggest kick in the guts and they wander why people aren't incentivize to care or be remotely "patriotic" which is just a running joke now anyway.

I hope you figure something out man. Fucked situation, but you seem like you've got it on lock either way, respect.

With the new OSA (Orwellian surveilliance act), there is a risk that angry Ofcom will send angry letters to the people that run .is and ask them to collect info on their users, which will probably force them to block UK ip addresses.

Brutal man. I'm in supported accommodation, they keep reminding me it's supposed to be temporary and I've been here years lol. Too broke and too ensconced in neetdom to think about moving out, frankly.

Cruelly, I wish you good luck, I hope your problem is solved.

sounds like kind of an adventure. kind of jealous tbh

That sucks, I hope it doesn't come to that for you man.

I'm surprised there's no fags here calling you a fakecel because criminals are so "sexy" to women.
