I see Communism recieves a lot of hate here. Westerners think that communism is assosciated with feminism and all those liberal bullshit. I don;t undestand how westerners call LGBTs, feminists etc as left. The real left is Red and doesn't care about identity politics. The aim of left is to make everyone equal and uplift worker class which is a good thing for Incels.
My home state is a place ruled by communists. The first democratically elected communist government was formed here. They have a huge influence but no one is an atheist here. My state has the most traditionally religious people you would ever see. The oldest christian community (older than any european christians) live here and they are one of the most traditional and conservative christians you will ever see same goes with muslims and Hindus. Still they vote for a atheistic communist party.
Still Women here have more intergrity and personality than any women of other states or countries. Feminism is looked down upon here by common people and communists because they know it is a stupid ideology. This state is very traditional still very liberal. More percentage of people don;t approve of gay marriages than any other state which is a conservative thing but in other things like accepting inter caste or inter religious marriage they are the most liberal. They give importance to lgbt rights but don't make a big deal out of it like in the west.
This state opposes casteism, racism and communalism the most but when asked if people should have the freedom to use casteist or racist slurs and make fun of muslims and other religions more than 90% of people approve of it here more than any other state. And of course people here continuesly use casteist slurs and religious slurs to refer lower castes or muslims. People here especially high caste christian and hindus have a certain superiority complex to people from other states and they constantly use slurs to refer them. Remember that this state is the best state for lower castes in india. No one minds it. Imagine openly using nigga anywhere u want.
