Back when I was a teenager I did an internship at an office in the big city, my grand-mother (father's side) lived there and I would visit her every Wednesday, she lived in an apartment complex for the elderly, her neighbour was an 80+ old White man, the story I've heard is that in his mid-80's he found an Indonesian toilet in her late 70's while going on vacation there, they fell in love and she moved in with him, she learned Dutch (although she spoke it with a heavy Javanese accent, as she was almost 80 when she started learning it) and they were happily married for a couple of years.

By the time I visited my grand-mother her husband had died and I enquired more into him.
