Anyway if what you say is true then I would recommend keeping calm and playing along.
They won't be immediately convinced so don't be stupid and demand them to release you now.
Emphasize that this experience has been a new perspective for you to value life. You will try to solve your problems instead of escaping them and you no longer want to kill yourself. Give them a half assed plan to pull your shit together.
Hopefully this will give you an earlier release.
