Story I just argued with my oneitis about fatherless stuff

So I said that fatherless children tend to have higher suicide rates, be more on jail, have more mental disorders to my oneitis at lunch in job. She asked me for sources and I just sent it.

She already knows I have a complicated relation with my mom. It pissed me off a lot she said I based this stuff on personal experience when she pulls out harassment for personal experience and not data.

But yes, that sounds rather annoying. I'm surprised people do not already know how dire the stats are for people who grew up in single parent homes, absent fathers in particular.

Women need data when it is against them but will argue emotions and feelings when it benefits them. Might not be unique to women, but it is just what I have observed.

People in general will only believe the facts that support the worldviews they already possess, while discarding and ignoring the facts that go against what they already believe. Nothing new here.
