I'm afraid you don't understand the importance of the U.S. dollar in the global financial system. A war against Iran would not cause the fall of the United States nor the West at large.

When the post-WW2 Bretton Woods system went down in the 1970s and the U.S. dollar shifted from the gold standard to a fiat currency, the U.S. dollar became the standard currency for the sale of petroleum. This means that the U.S. dollar remains the world's reserve currency. It also means that foreign currency exchange markets will continue to provide a steady drip of foreign capital inflows and therefore liquidity to American financial markets. It also allows the U.S. to run perpetual current account deficits and props up the value of the dollar.

Foreign governments and investors who hold large quantities of U.S. bonds, including China, would see their investments collapse if the U.S. dollar were to do so.

Also, side note: I don't think "not getting laid" is a good enough reason to hope for "the fall of the West".
