Serious I hate when I get too little or too many notifications

I hate it when I get only one or no notifications on .is especially after a whole day away from the forum. At the same time, I hate getting any more than 10 notifications because it overwhelms me and it's hard to get to each one and keep track of it all. I always feel like I may have skipped some notifications by mistake. The ideal number of notifications to have at a given time is between 4 and 6 imo

It's honestly the paragon glow and avi halo doing most of the work. I was once a GrAY and did not have a fancy avi. The way other users treated me is a night and day difference compared to now. Having an animated avi and 10k posts boosts the number of replies and profile comments you get by double. Try it and see for yourself (at least the avi part)
