Then I can concentrate on many interesting things: reading serious books, then however I get horny days when I'm basically only capable of browsing newspapers mindlessly. Hence all this talk about "copes" etc. If we wouldn't have libido, many of us would have genuine "hobbies", rather than pointless "copes". Yes, it is a nuisance and a great source of suffering, This will be different from one man to the next, of course, but in general I think that the costs to remove that nuisance are too high (and arguably greater than the suffering that comes with it).

Tried for exactly one month only. Felt like hell and was killing my body. I had to take way more daily laxatives than normal to keep my intestines going (I have a chronic intestinal condition to begin with). It also made me need to sleep 12 hours a day.

I couldn’t stop yawning all day and it was awful how foggy I felt.

It was on just half the beginning dose of the kikepill Sertraline. My body is unbelievably badly responsive to most meds. Just that tiny dose was shutting down my intestines, so good knows what a high dose would do to me
