When I was about 13 I remember going to the orthodontist and they recommended a device that would essentially open my mouth really wide.

I think you had like a key that you would stick into it and turn the key and it would open your mouth wider or something.

Anyway my parents couldn't afford it so I never got it.

So later in life I developed a really bad underbite. Eventually in my mid 20's I got it fixed.

I had double jaw surgery. They moved my upper jaw forward and my lower jaw back. They also did a genioplasty on me.

The problem though is the chin implant looks so fucking bad.

Obviously its not me but this girl has what I have. You will notice under her lips the big indentation and then her chin.

My chin looks terrible now. It is so obvious that it is a implant. Surgery didn't make me ascend guys. Truthfully I was probably better looking with my flat midface and regular chin before surgery.

My shit looks like the left pictures now.

Maybe they could remove the implant or switch it out? I mean, wouldn't it look good then with a normal jaw or is it to recessed? Maybe they should have just done a more extreme lefort with SARPE together.

The surgery did improve my midface. My midface was flat as fuck before now it has some pop to it. I have to see if I can take the implant out or perhaps shave it down some. They told me the chin implant was needed to keep the chin from being too recessed.

i have a slight underbite, having a underbite is not your problem (unless severe), bone structure is your problem for your looks, which is something surgery cannot fix.

Your probably right. My face was flat as fuck before surgery and its still flat now. It is a bone issue no doubt. I just have a beta male face.

go have a read of some jawsurgeryforum history and that fucking german surgery community and see how many people were utterly let down by the fabled chin wing. Not only does it not deliver the desired results (because what people want it for is NOT what the operation is designed for or capable of) but if often leaves them with significant asymmetry.

Dr Eppley is absolutely one of the best in this field, and one of the most decorated, and there is good reason he prefers implants for any kind of aesthetic surgery. And even those have middling results.

I have seen thousands, literally, thousands of cases and not one person has gone from ugly to model tier. the best results are always just making people with deformities look normie tier. sometimes it looks more impressive than it really is because once you correct the deformities the persons really good features stand out. but ugly to model? i have a bridge to sell you.

I have.

He showed me over a dozen before and afters of his patients that you can´t find on the internet. The results he showed me were much more impressive than even the best before and afters on the internet. It´s definitely possible to go from potato face to getting a chiseled face with a strong jaw and cheekbones.

If anything surgery is incredibly underrated on here. People underrate what is possible.
