These group of girls were talking about if they were date a 4’11 man, and the girls were laughing and saying no, and then they said it’s just a preference though. I hate it when girls say it is just a preference. It’s not just a preference because height standards create social bias. Having a preference for things like eye color is harmless because it doesn't determine someone's value. But rejecting someone solely for being short is different… it’s dehumanizing to judge someone's worth over something they can't control. What's worse is how society normalizes making fun of short guys. If a guy rejected a girl for something she could change like her weight or being hairy everyone would call him shallow. But when women do it to short men, it's brushed off as just a preference.
