It's popular for POT HEADS to dis alcohol and any other drug in favour of weed. They do have a point though. Like I said, in the medical community alcohol and tobacco are considered hard drugs. Alcohol is purely poison and you could kill yourself with it in less than an hour if you tried (pound a litre of vodka)

Tobacco actually kills more people than all other drugs including alcohol and a few other common causes of death combined multiplied by a few times.

Weed just isn't as dangerous as alcohol and the smoke is generally a bit less harmful than tobacco. The difference is how people smoke it. You don't need to smoke nearly as much weed to get high as a smoker does to satisfy their drug addiction.

That said, weed can cause various side effects ranging from just turning kids into fat lazy pieces of shit to triggering mental illnesses in those vulnerable. Synthetic weed can be downright insane.
