Here are the points people are missing:
- First your profile won't even be shown to anyone if you are not successful in your first few days or not paying for boosts. So all the girls you are swiping won't even see you.
- Second if your profile IS being shown to women, ie. boosts, you are likely to get matches solely because: There are a certain number of bots, fake profiles, catfishers, girls promoting themselves on IG, hookers, girls competing for the most number of matches, and guys running experiments.
Even the incels on dataisbeautiful got a few matches, probably because they were paying for Boosts and like I said, you have to presume at least 1/150 of profiles on Tinder are one of the above types I listed, in which case, if your profile was being seen, you should at least get 1/150 match rate.
So if you have less than 1/150 or maybe even 1/120 it means your profile is not being seen and you are not even getting the "background noise" of the app.
