I hope everyone who lights fireworks or is otherwise being loud has something horrible happen to them upcoming year. I hope everyone who litters their fireworks steps in dog shit. I'm too tired to write a comprehensive tirade right now. I hope your upcoming year will be tolerable.

I probably would if I found liquor palatable. Then again, I doubt music would've been able to drown out the loud pyrotechnic explosions and in turn I doubt the liquor would've been able to assuage my sanguinity. That said, I don't hate holidays because I feel lonely. I hate holidays because of the ineluctable gaiety and clamor. It's a disturbance to my peace and quiet, which is one the few things keeping me from doing cERtain things.

I thought about listening to music over midnight to drown out any cheers from my upstairs neighbour and fireworks from outside but was too tired and went to bed before midnight. I hadn't fallen asleep so still heard fireworks outside. -_-
